7月10日美國(guó)總統(tǒng)奧巴馬在德克薩斯州發(fā)表演說(shuō)，在演講結(jié)束趕往機(jī)場(chǎng)的路上空降德克薩斯州著名的富蘭克林燒烤店，結(jié)果因排隊(duì)的人太多而被迫行使總統(tǒng)特權(quán)——插隊(duì)，為表歉意，他還為排在前面的兩位顧客買單。
據(jù)報(bào)道，奧巴馬進(jìn)店之后說(shuō)：“各位，聽(tīng)說(shuō)這里的燒烤非常棒，果真如此？”“我知道你們排了很長(zhǎng)的隊(duì)，但很抱歉我要插隊(duì)了。”

在與顧客們閑聊一段時(shí)間后，奧巴馬才趕去乘坐空軍一號(hào)返回華盛頓。
President Obama (or at least, his wranglers) made the strong choice of an impromptu stop at Franklin's Barbecue in on the way to catching his flight out of town Thursday.
The president, sidling up to the counter at the Texas landmark, apologized to the people at the front of the very long line as he skipped the wait, according to the travel pool report.
"Because these folks were in front of me, I'm buying for them," he told the workers behind the counter.
The president ordered around 8 pounds of meat, 6 pounds of which went for Bruce Finstad of Houston and his daughter Faith Finstad of Austin, the lucky pair at the front of the line, and their two seated companions.
"Hold on -- how many folks are y'all feedin'?" the president joked as he pulled out a roll of $20 bills, then asked if his credit card still worked when the order exceeded $300.
The order included 3 pounds of beef, 2 pounds of ribs, a half-pound of sausage and a half-pound of turkey for the Finstads, but the pool reporter wasn't able to get the president's order.
After chatting with diners in the packed restaurant, President Obama headed on to catch his Air Force One flight back to D.C., barbecue in tow.
