在這個一切都講求速度的年代，連談戀愛都有“截止期”。通常是一方不久就要搬走，雙方相約到時候就分手，因而彼此都不會投入太多感情，這就是expiration dating（到期約會）。
Expiration dating refers to starting a relationship that has a defined end date; for example, one of the people is moving soon.
“到期約會”指開啟一段有“截止期”的戀情，例如，其中一方不久就要搬走。
Example:
"I hear you started dating some new girl."
"Yeah, but she's moving across the country in a month, so we're planning on breaking up."
"A little expiration dating, eh?"
“我聽說你開始和新的女孩約會了?！?/p>
“是啊，不過她一個月以后就要搬到國家另一端居住了，所以我們計劃到時候就分手。”
“你在玩‘到期約會’??？”
