Pingtan will host all softball events of the National Youth Games, from Oct 18 to 27, in a state-of-the-art softball stadium which is said to be one of the best in the country.
About 260 workers are working around the clock to complete the project ahead of schedule originally set for sometime in July, according to a supervisor.
Authorities have placed Games elements in every corner. More than 3,000 banners and posters have been hung up in streets, scenic resorts and supermarkets.
