CGGC builds green water conservancy projects for the society and facilitates friendly ecological environment.

CGGC boasts rich experience in river control, flood control, waterlogging control, irrigation, water supply and water resources protection, etc., and built many water conservancy projects including the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, the largest water transfer project in the world. CGGC-undertaken water conservancy projects are all over major rivers in China, as well as Asia, Africa and Latin America.

 

The South-to-North Water Diversion Project (China)

As the largest water transfer project in the world by far, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project that crosses the Yangtze, the Huaihe, the Yellow and the Haihe Rivers runs through more than 10 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).

The Jianli Yangtze River Embankment Renovation & Reinforcement Project contracted by CGGC is 230km long, protecting 2782.84km2 of land.The project won the "Dayu Award", the top prize for excellent water conservancy projects in China.

It is the world's largest U-shaped cast-in-place pre-stressed thin-wall concrete aqueduct. The project won the "Luban Award", the top construction and engineering quality award in China.
