The city of Datong, Shanxi province is now providing a virtual tour of its famous Yungang Grottoes on its official website, at baike.baidu.com/museum/yungang, allowing would-be visitors to do a self-guided tour of the entire site.
Yungang Grottoes, located at the southern foot of Wuzhou Hill, 16 kilometers west of Datong city in Shanxi province, represent the outstanding achievements of Buddhist cave art in China during the 5th and 6th centuries.
