The government has poured a hefty investment of up to 60 million yuan ($9.02 million) to restore its local environment since 2015.
The massive campaign included rubbish clearance, waste water treatment, toilet renovation as well as green energy reform to transform coal use to natural gas.
Chen Ziling, Party chief of Shuangqiaohe county, which governs the village, said: "The environment of the village was the worst in the past among local villages, but now its facelift has benefited local incomes, boosted more agricultural sectors and attracted personnel from outside provinces."
