Du Yanlin, a veteran businessman, launched kaffir lily planting projects of about 5,000 square meters in 2018, after seeing the fast changes during the massive environmental protection campaign.
During the first half this year, the flower generated a revenue of up to 1 million yuan, creating job opportunities for 350 local villagers.
"It was almost impossible to plant flowers under the previous land conditions, but now the area is creating enormous opportunities for us," Du said.
