PYONGYANG - Chinese Vice-Premier Li Keqiang left here Tuesday after wrapping up a three-day official goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

During his visit, Li met separately with the DPRK's top leader Kim Jong Il, top legislator Kim Yong Nam and premier Choe Yong Rim.

Li laid a wreath at the Friendship Tower in Pyongyang on Monday, paying tribute to Chinese soldiers killed in the Korean War, and visited Kim Il Sung University where he observed a Chinese-language training course and chatted with teachers and students.

On Tuesday, Li visited the DPRK-China Friendship Thaekam Cooperative Farm in the northwestern suburb of Pyongyang.

The chief of the farm management committee briefed Li about the achievements the farm has made in agricultural cooperation with the Chinese side over the years.

Li praised the farm for playing its part in promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries.

Li also visited a farm household that received late Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai many years ago, and the farm's kindergarten.

On the same day, Li met with the Chinese embassy staff and representatives of Chinese-owned companies, overseas Chinese and Chinese students studying in Pyongyang.

The Chinese vice premier arrived here Sunday at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the DPRK government.

Li will pay an official visit to South Korea on October 26-27.
